| Personally, I think private firms have placed broadband to all places they are gonna place without people having to raise pure living hell (( petitions for service, which is pathetic that it has to be done imo )).. Alotta people are being left behind in the information age, stuck on dialup and lack of options...
To say broadband is there for people that are willing to pay for it, well I think these very people live in the city where naturally lots of options are available, there for a bias opinion.. Not everyone lives in the city, not everyone should have to.. Everyone should have access to a real broadand option. Either by private firms or gov... Private firms have been giving a buttload of money to supplement buildouts but yet we still see this severe lack of broadband... Don't believe me, actually drive around and ask people if they can get an affordable broadband option.. Don't just look at some damn map the FCC put on the net claiming net availability.. Those maps are flawed and noone seems to give a damn that it is so, as long as they have theirs.. |
