rjs1003 : Last time I looked at the product, the main benefit of the secure NIC was fast encryption - ie to accelerate the behaviour of VPNs. And I know it talks about being "hardened"... but I don't see any benefit in it in a home environment... a cheap NIC and a decent firewall will do the trick. This product is great in servers where encryption would otherwise slow down the CPU, or in building a distributed firewall... but for home go cheaper!

Bob
