I am wondering if I can avoid the increase if I extend my contract another year. I was on a 1 year deal (30/5 for 54.95).

Home Improvement Millenicom 1 edit	That's almost a 10% increase, which is frustrating to me. I also received the letter, but my one year contract is not up until the end of October. Those are usually arbitrary numbers and have nothing to do with the increased costs of delivering service, better performance or more robust features. Just a nice round number to gouge the customer with that they would not be able to support if we could force them to do so. We were all wondering what would happen with increases once they sunk their teeth in.. I guess now we will find out. Interesting that they reference »Consumer Reports: FiOS on Top! on their letter. -- Team Discovery
