Things were fine up until yesterday, I had excellent routing to this IP, generally 30-40ms latency (its a gameserver hosted at www.thenynoc.com) Not sure if the problem resides on Cogeco's side of the network or theirs but this high latency is certainly killing my enjoyment of my connection. Generally pretty happy with Cogeco. Hope someone can shed some light on this. |

Anything that goes over Toronto Internet Exchange and Nac is awesome, not sure what Cogecos peering is, but Cogent has been REALLY bad today. |

Cogent is having problems with their fiber in a number of places and has apparently got splicing crews on the scene.

They hooked us up on an awesome deal on a 3.06ghz Dual CPU Xeon.
Network is Global Crossing, NAC, Cogent Optical Network, and WV Fiber, which is usually fantastic for our players on the East coast as well as the UK. Cogent and Global Crossing have been having some issues outside of both Cogeco's and the datacenters network though, primarily Cogent though. |
