Re: need advise should i stay or go I have FIOS TV and phone. I still have SE DSL (same package as the OP). Why? For one, I'm not ready to give all my business to VZ. Two, I like the openness of the SE service - static IPs, servers, etc. I run a few sites from home, mostly dev sites now for myself and colleagues, that would be a pain to replace with FiOS restrictions.
I'm cool with my speed for now...but am sure I'll be switching someday.
OP, if you don't use any of the benefits SE has over FiOS (statics/servers/etc), then the only downside of going with FiOS is being assimilated...which'll probably happen anyway, with Comcast if not VZ.
