Be very afraid for your data if you use XFS. Not sure about JFS but XFS does not handle crashes or power loss nicely. You will experience corruption and data loss. Ext3 is the safe way to go.

GOD you are so right about that!
It does not know how to handle full dir ether it seems to take the system down with it too and crrupt your data beyond F* repair....
The Previous admin in the position I am use to have a hard on for xfs... Now I am stuck with a 2TB File Server running xfs and cant do shit about but pray that the clietns say... Mhhhh is time to upgrade.
