JD Power...worthless?

I thought JD Power reports were independently produced bought by large corporations?

yes, JD Power is nothing more than an award mill. Just like the Weatherate "most accurate weather" sham.

Not if you think of JD Power as the organizer and those competing as the special olympians.

How about all of the positive reviews everywhere else for T-Mobile, and the constant stream of complaints from ATT/Cingular?

That BS also?

J.D. Power is like a diploma mill: you pay, you get.

Consumer Reports is accurate since they buy the product and test the hell out of it. They refuse even ads in their report.

If you really want to know: go to ripoffreportdotcom for the stuff on anyone. People let companies have it detailing any stupid thing they do or pull.

Sort of reminds me of 'Motor Trend' and 'Car and Driver' how they end up with a different company for Truck of the Year... almost every year.
Nissan builds a new truck... and wins
Ford builds a new truck ... and wins
GM builds a new truck ... and wins
Dodge builds a new truck ... and wins
Toyota builds a new truck ... and wins

I'd like for once to see the one with the new 'truck' ... LOSE.
