In Detroit where I used to live/work I walked in a bombshelter that had 50 foot thick concrete slabs to hold the building up and still could retain a signal and talk to people on my phone... granted I had 0-1 bar but the point is if it gets the job done I'm not switching. Same goes with my college. It has a metal roof. Most people I see lose their phone call in the bookstore... right in the middle of the building. I never loose my calls in the building. I've noticed though it has to do with the phone because I've used verizon with my sisters phone and she gets horrible service dropping calls on a consistant basis. Its a shame that they can't make one good design and stick with it. I really think you pay what you get for don't pay too little when you get your phone. Buy a good decenly priced one or you'll regret it later.
