| reply to SGR I had something recorded last Tuesday. After the new update, it only lets me watch 10 min of it and cuts off.
Moreover, on some HD channels, the picture slices (picture the screen as paper. cut in half and move one half to the left or right. That might be a channel issue. |

| Is there any way to either disable the magnified portion of the TV listings or move it to highlight the top listing in the guide rather than sit right in the middle of the listings? I find it extremely difficult to view the listings quickly on a page since the center is taken up by this magnified window.... |

1 edit | reply to taboni Hi, Marketplace on the SD stb works aok. However if I try it on the HD SB I get Mode not supported on my TV and have to hit Exit. I'm using HDMI. Anyone else ? Lee
EDIT After fooling around with the settings it seemed the upgrade set my Override to 480I. I turned it off. I can see marketplace now. -- "I Don't feel Tardy" "When Clinton Lied , All that was left was a stained dress. When Bush lied ,all that was left was 3000 + less US Soldiers.. |

| Now that you can see marketplace with the new setting did that correct your other poor SD PQ issue on your HDTV? I have the same exact issue with my Panny rear projection TV. The PQ used to look great on the CRT, then I switched to a 56HDTV and SD PQ sucks. I set the boxes override to 480i as was suggested somewhere in the forums, but it doesn't seem too much better.
Open to any ideas at this point. |

1 edit | 480i was never meant to be blown up to 50-60-65 inches. That's why it looks like crap when it's blown up to 50-60-65 inches. When you've got 240 lines lit up at any given time, increasing the space between those lines isn't going to make the image look better. |

| This is a different issue than the PQ, but I read that with the NEW IMG we should be able to stream video from a PC to the MultiRoom DVR and conversion would be done on the fly. I will I can remember where I saw this, but can someone confirm that we are supposed to have this feature? I am going to check it out when I get home. But I loaded the Media Manager Software and there is no section for video, only Pictures and Music.
Thanks |

| reply to SGR Anyone in the Philly area still having the CSN SD vs. HD issue? I decided to try what CeeZee did - I set up something to record on CSN HD, and it started recording the SD channel instead. I'm tempted to have my boxes reset, but I'm a little hesitent to do that. Anyone else have that done? I was going to do it from the Verizon website, but I have one issue - I can't tell which box is which. They just give you the serial number for the box on the website. |

join:2007-03-09 Franklin Square, NY | I have a problem similar. It's the guide data's fault. Look at the description for those two channels. Press info on the SD channel, is it showing an HD description in it? They are labeled wrong so the boxes are going by those descriptions. |

Matcarl- unfortunately, what's on now on CSN is NOT in HD so I can't check for the HD indicator |
