I have a 10 GB network at home but it's very very very slow...don't know why.
How can I trace th slowdown and what to do to fix it?

How about a little more information; such as equipment, layout, software, etc...

Not to be harsh, but what you've given us so far is the same as calling a mechanic and saying "My car doesn't run right. What's wrong with it?" - we can't troubleshoot without information...
