I am not a Comcast subscriber, so I have no firsthand knowledge. Many Comcast subscribers who seem to know that is what recommend the Motorola SB5120.

yea but im moving soon so dunno if i should replace yet or just get a new modem provisioned at the new house. im going comcast area to comcast area though.
Edit: what modem would be suggested for an upgrade? i own the modem so its just a matter of a trip to circuit city and most likely a call to comcast. |

Try limiting your peer connections. Older CPE was not designed to handle all the connections that modern P2P apps can handle.

| has anyone else noticed this? ive done it a few times with the blizzard patcher and others with a normal BT client. where the modem just stops all TX/RX but is still synced a simple modem reboot and its all good.
