Yup, after being through 2 PS2s (slim versions) due to overheating (something they claimed isn't a design flaw), and their root-kit DRM stunt... I avoid Sony like the plague. I wouldn't even use their products to wipe my ass with!

My opinion, inventing something (as a partner company, btw) and licensing that invention... and purchasing the product from another manufacturer, is a bit different.
Just because Microsoft invented the "smiley" (smirk),
doesn't mean I'd stop posting on forums and using them if I wished to boycott their products and / or services! =S

You've been through 2 Slim line PS2's?
You mean the ones that are like 5 years younger then my perfectly working old ass dusted PS2?
Don't mean to pick on you, but on internet message boards, this is the norm; some crazy ass problem going wrong with PSx's, PS2's, PSP's, PS3's...but ain't a damn thing wrong with a Wii. Lol.

Sony music is run by completely diff. portion of company then what makes ps2. You dont mind using chips of theres in OTHER equipment like you said so why should the DRM issue have any bearing what-so-ever on PSP usage.

Short story: almost all poop produced by Sony in last 6 years gave me nothing but disappointment.
Once best- now overpriced china made garbage.

Sony owns the patent therefor they can lease it for someone to make.
Microsoft doesnt make curcuit boards themselves for the xbox360 do they? MS does nothing but sub out the work. 
Samsung is a sub to sony which is what they are. There are lots of companys that sub to sony. It still sony under it they DESIGNED IT , R&D, So now matter how you slice it, its still a SONY.
Like saying Chevy,GMC,saturn, buick is not GM. Gm is no where on the names but they make it. |
