Bobooken posted : Hey

A few days ago I bought an USR 9108A to replace my old ADSL-modem. That one was working fine but many times rebootet the last weeks. So I tought is was time to renew. I installed the new equipment, I filled in all the right things and tried to get connected. When I looked at the status of my line, I get a authentication failure. I tried all the possible variations of connection options, but nothing worked. To know shure my device worked, I went ove rto my sister and conncted with her adsl-provider in a few secs...
So what is going wrong with my connection?
My old modem always has to try several times to get connected, my new USR only tries ones and gives up. Is there a way to get it to try it several times to connect? Or change the time of waiting on an answer of the ISP?
I tried to contact my ISP by phone, but I don't get an answer there :( Can anyone of you help me? I'd realy apreciate it!

Greetings
Björn
