I agree... I remember a while back when Cable companies 'offered' free extra channels a short period of time to everyone (no calls required), however you had to call in and have them turned off, or you would start receiving a bill once the trial period was up.

This was considered negative option billing, forcing people to call in and opt out if they didn't want to pay extra for service they didn't sign up for. It went to the courts, and cable companies had to turn off the 'free' service after the 'free' period was over, unless customers opted IN.

videotron specifically advertised their extreme service as unlimited usage sounds and now they are changing that sounds to me like a bait and switch.

Bait and switch? The Extrême has been unlimited since it was created in 2002. They have the right to change their politics once in a while...
