K, in your opinion, things of this nature shouldn't be discussed. Self fulling prophecy, anyone? You play into the "tin-foi hat" crowd as a do-what-big-daddy-wants drone. Guess you like taht kind of cycle.
I on the other hand enjoy discussing, on a discussion board, topics ranging from broadband, to sports, movies, music, and even, gasp, government spying! People such as yourself won't "stop" the discussion with meaningless redirect and name calling, unless of course "tin foiling a hat" is something more or less meant as a factual description of a poster, or am I missing something?
With recent news on government spying, why would this seem such a far fetched idea?
But hey, you can be as reactionartory as you want, like the pigs/cops around my way. I say both terms because their are some slobs on the force and there are some "pro-active" policemen that take part in community. Which is better for our country? |

He is the one who submits these news items (to dslr) to begin with a lot of the time, so why wouldnt he want to discuss it?
I dont doubt that the govt could screw up someones network with monitoring software, look who we have elected. |

You may be correct in some of your assessment, but in this topic I think you're not. Jabari throws out an allegation and it makes it BBR. This is not relevent unless is proven!
My comcast was out all day yesterday, is this too part of the vast government conspiracy????
Or maybe, just maybe, they have some problems with their network....JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE!

Balancing privacy issues and accountability to uphold the law that we delegated to our govt officials.
No doubt there are many issues with this, but since we have these things we call laws, we have to deal with it.
