the fact remains that we'll never know exactly what the deal was with the outage. I believe it's very possible the outage was caused by either hacking and/or government intrusion. Skype will never admit to either. But if you live in the real world and can think for yourself instead of following some official corporate/government line, then either of the above-referenced are very real possibilities.
