Sorry things did not work out and good luck with your new host. Connections drops usually mean that your to far from the CO for your profile or you had a bad modem. This is the main reason why we offer a 30 money back guarantee. If things don't work out you have nothing to lose.

Best Regards,
Paul

tried it out. line kept dropping...many, many times a day which confused me because it didn't do that when i was with sympatico and i thought they were simply resellers.

support is terrible. frustrating working over email.
twice i waited on hold only to hear a recording say "the wait queue is longer than an hour...thank you..goodbye [click]".

however, the 100gb storage space is really, really great...the virtual PC looks neat (but not that useful for me) and the price is great. the sister company looks like it offers reasonably priced services too...not sure about their reliability.

over to teksavvy i go. so far so good.

Does acanac offer newsgroup access like teksavvy?
you can find a good deal right now at »newsrazor.net ... 10 concurrent connections for 10.95/month for 3 months, then it goes up to an industry standard 14.95/month. the speed is a bit 'meh' so far, but you can always switch to something like »newshosting.com (the middle plan) for 14.95 after your 3 months with newsrazor are up. just a thought.

Activations take at least 5-8 business days. Since we got your missing information on the 21 it will be a few more days before your order is setup.

Is free trial still available? I saw the ad 18.95/month yearly plan it's quite good wonder how will be the speed at my location. What happen after one year from the yearly plan of 18.95? Will it switch to regular price monthly plan or still continue with the 18.95$ yearly plan?
It's been covered a few times but... the price goes up to $34 at the end of 1 year. The first year is a loss-leader to get customers to try the service, then hopefully stay afterwards. The company offers a 30 day money-back guarantee if you are not happy with your speed or other aspect of the service.
