Re: Acanac Free Trial

so this is Free US and Canada?

Not with the free service. With our paid service you get free calling within Canada and the U.S

d is this voip service compared to bels for example?? and whats the going rate :P

This is Voip service. At the moment Bell service uses PSTN network and is considered better.

Hello,

No, you can only call to the major cities we provided for free. If you wish to call US and canada you must subscribe to our service.

Hi, baloojunk2 again, i;ve been going through the information about acanac, and its beginning to sound like a much better backup isp then bell, which is expensive for the role. any comments would be helpful, especially about reliability. Thanks

All of a sudden they say they can't run DSL to my apartment, even though Bell offers 16 Mbit. And the response time to support is VERY slow. I would say avoid this company.

Yeah sure!!!
Acanac/Canaca riped off so many peoples and there is still peoples willing to try them? I took 3 Years of web hosting with them - MY WORST experience in web hosting ever - a $2/year hosting on eBay is way better - What can I say about their DSL service? DOWNTIMES! I bought 1 year prepaid commercial class DSL! Dial up would have been a better option. Who would do business with a company that can't even write Quebec properly??? Look Paul, you STOLE my domain name by refusing to resend me my the login info even after I sent you my driver license scan... Now my domain name is pointing your super downtime hosting servers. TY very much!!! I was also wondering, does your support department is playing dumb #@$! or they are real #@$!?? Not knowing what a domain transfer is... Give me a break. Anyways, I'll stop it right there because reading reviews about your liar company is driving me crazy. Your business should stop selling service and start reselling...

If any admin come by this post, please remove the post I made just before this one. I got a bit mad at Paul because of all the bad service I received from them. I usually don't go that far but they stole me and I didn't like it. I feel really bad for the shit talk I just made even if he deserve it:(

I am sorry that you feel that way about our company. I am not familiar with your specific case, but if you have some ticket ID's I would be more than happy to look into it. Please just PM them over.
I do want to be perfectly clear. Acanac or Canaca is not in the business of ripping anybody off. Once again please send me your ticket ID's and I would be more than happy to assist you.

Please remember that we use Bell for the last mile of service. If Bell is stating that service is not available at your location unfortunately we can not provide service.

As for support being slow can you please provide me with ticket ID's. I want to investigate your concerns.

I wasn't receiving any more updates on ticket TOA-20063

Then all of a sudden they say my line is set up on ticket BDY-15597 and QHV-74637 ... I don't know if this was for my free trial that I put in for many weeks ago and never got a response to, or what. In any case, is there an appointment for a Bell tech to come out?
