Re: USR8054 not working at all!!

HI all ,
I had the same problem with my usr8054
One day my router died, doing nothing anymore, turned out to be the power adapter, bought a new one and power light back on...
Then i had the same problem as described above, power light on and every 5,10 seconds all 4 orange lights blinking...
reset did nothing etc...
tried everything, router did not respond at all..
was tired of it and decided to open him up and take and look, i noticed a condensor who was broken (condensor 680 micro Farad,6.3v, it was located next to the transmitter card,if openend up,lights facing you, condensor next to the bottom right of the transmitter card) if its broken you'll see that there are cracks in it,its the top that pops open when broken)
decided to change it with a new one and router back fully operational,no problems since...
this is the procedure to follow when testing usr8054...

set static ip address on your computer:
IP 192.168.123.50
SM 255.255.255.0
GW 192.168.123.254
PD 192.168.123.254
open up IE, go to »192.168.123.254

My Configuration Utility is not responding, but I can still access the Internet.
Possible Solution:
If your Configuration Utility stops responding, unplug and then plug back in the power supply of the Wireless Turbo Access Point & Router. This will reboot the Wireless Turbo Access Point & Router. If you are still unable to communicate with the Configuration Utility, press in and hold the RESET button. While holding the RESET button, unplug then plug back in the power supply. When the Wireless Turbo Access Point & Router has power again, continue to hold the RESET button for about five seconds to reset the Wireless Turbo Access Point & Router to the factory default settings. If you applied any personal configuration settings, you will need to make the changes again.
