| Dropped AT&T before contract... In May of 2007 we almost lost our 31 year old handicapped son because the New AT&T could not connect us to those caring for our child! Luckily I used a land line and found that our son was in distress and we needed to take him to the emergency room. The school had tried to contact me and my wife via our cell phone but could not connect! After his emergency surgery I called AT&T to advise them that they breached their contract for connectivity reasons and that we were going back to Verizon. We are now in collections and refuse to pay any more. NO ONE gave a damn at AT&T when I explained the situation. They told us we should have had a land line number to be reached and we were not going to be allowed to drop out of our contract. Any suggestions? |
