Re: VUZE But this discussion is about torrents and uploads. Apples and oranges to your (or "mines")post. I'm sure we are real happy that you are schooling us "noobs" and letting us all know how special you are to download illegal materials from dedicated sites. Maybe you can school us later on how you intend of paying the fines you are bound to get hit with if you keep spouting off. |

Yeah, there are 14 people apparently ABLE to connect and download from me(how else can the program list those 14?)... *BUT* they apprently DO NOT want that file! ! Wow, you just dont understand a bit about this issue. Those 14 people are leechers on the files you have open for seed. They WANT it otherwise they would not show up on that log.
The little blue face shows how they are having issues connecting with you. If Comcast didnt dick around with uploads and sandvine, you would have a happy green face and 14 people getting what you just leeched.
Like I said, get your facts sraight. |

With respect, a kindly-intended correction. The 0(14) in the Peers column means that there are 14 peers in the swarm that do want that file, and you currently are connected to 0 of them.
In this case, connecting to 0 of 14 may not be particularly unusual, especially if you just connected up. - being as there are over 100 seeds for that file, the small amount of peers may already be connected to the "maximum" that they have configured for their client -- they don't need you - you may be at the maximum number of connections configured for your client - some of those peers may not be able to accept incoming connections, which means that you have to wait for them to reannounce to the tracker for them to learn your IP address - some of those peers may be located in IP blocks covered by applications like PeerGuardian ... etc.
Azureus/Vuze has the best console logging of any of the applications I've used. You'll know that you are getting the RST interference if you get a lot of "10053" errors saying something about "software caused connection abort." -- Robb Topolski -= funchords.com =- Hillsboro, Oregon USA Are you affected by Comcast's RST forging? How to test it! -or- Read my original report. |

dadkinsCan you do Blu?Premium,MVM join:2003-09-26 Hercules, CA kudos:18 | Yep! Also, could be my firewall! Possibly my router! Could very well be Comcast... but, seeing as I don't use Azureus(or any other BT application for that matter) it does not affect me.
BT *DOWNLOADS* are unaffected. I gets mines... but I don't use BT! LOL!
