Which came first: chicken or egg?

Comcast advertises it's high speed network. However, if 2/3 - 3/4 of it's broadband is for P2P, the speed is what people are wanting. If you going to piddle around with P2P at low speeds, than DSL will work just fine for email, surfing, and P2P. As others have noted, even gaming over Comcasts shared network isn't all that great. If they restrict bandwidth but advertise high bandwidth, what is the point of using them?
