and nothing but the windows side bar running at start up, I did disable the vista side bar at windows start up , and that seemed to speed things up a bit, , but w/ shared memory & low end on-board graphics, (very typical of a Notebook) not much I can do about that, I don't think more than 2GB of system Ram would really make much of a difference, and the 2GB's sticks that are out on the market right now are Very expensive for a notebook! |
