Is that wayyyyyyyyyyy too much? No really, is it? haha! I don't mind paying. I say it is. My DSL is only 3Mbps/768K but it's only $24.99/month. And when fios becomes available I can get it for $29.99/month for 10Mbps/2Mbps. Add in your POTS and all its associated bullshit fees and you're way over $40/month! -- You can never be too rich, too thin or have too much Bandwidth |

But with just about any cable company you can get wayyyyyy more than 3mbps for what you're spending but if you DON'T have a cellphone then i guess what you have is a pretty good deal with DSL. -- You can never be too rich, too thin or have too much Bandwidth |

| reply to Rob A LOL. I get unlimited US/Canada calling for about $1.50 a month with my non-POTS solution.
POTS is expensive, and it is ridiculous for the telco to require you to purchase it to get DSL service. |

Personally, price is much more important to me than speed. I find 3Mbps plenty for what I do. Browsing the web is lightning fast, and I almost never download a file more than 10MB. I probably avg a total of 10-15MB a wk or less of total downloading. |
