1 edit | what losers! Their "support" page does not have a phone number to call (though there is a phone number for signups). Their E911 page is blank. There is no street address, in the event one wanted to send them a cake. Their "email" link does not have an e-mail address, nor a link to send them email. Even their Terms of Service is blank. For what reason are you looking for information about them? -- "Teleblend has an agreement with the Assignee to solicit and support former SunRocket customers." |

| reply to RockyBB said by Batchman :Knightel is a new start-up company.... said by RockyBB :For what reason are you looking for information about them? And pray tell, Batchman, how did you happen to stumble across this "premature" VoIP provider offering? Could you have viewed/heard their massive nationwide TV/Radio advertising campaign? Possibly, you read about them in PC Magazine or VoIP Illustrated or the NY Times. I think not. So, tell your brother (or son or father or cousin or best friend) to go back to the drawing board before trying to enter an already confused VoIP competition, where even pre-existing providers are pi$$ing off customers --- not to mention the "out of the woodwork" gang at TeleBlechh. |

1 edit | said by RockyBB :you're awfully cranky, doc... Nah. All my partners are either on vacation this week or had the day off today --- so I just got home from a hard day on my own at the office --- and had to go straight to the hospital ER for a couple of unexpected emergency consults --- finally getting dinner before signing on to BBR. Why can't people have the good sense to schedule their emergencies in advance?

Incidentally, the OP's reference to Knight dot com takes you to some sort of stock brokerage site that mentions "liquidity" --- an apparent reference to this newly referenced VoIP company which, being liquid, will surely soon go down the drain. [Good! Now that I've vented, I feel better. Night night, all.] |

| like VOIP carriers scheduling downtime? of course, since you can't make phone calls on VT or your backup VoiceStick, you've got more time for the forum. Weeee! Maybe you'll take the time to consider Nuvio or Knightel as your backup's backup! -- "Teleblend has an agreement with the Assignee to solicit and support former SunRocket customers." |

2 edits | reply to Batchman Oh, man. Click onto the knightel dot com site and then click About Us. Try reading through the several paragraphs and tell me if any of it makes sense. It sounds like a 12 year old's attempt at writing a term paper with inappropriate and inaccurate use of big words, grown-up language and grandiose context that was pulled from the [Fill in the Language] to English translation site at BabelFish (on Altavista.com).
Example: That's why Knightel offer economical Pricing, so you pay no more than we say you will. That's why we won't confuse thou with intricate rate plans, or tiptoe through increases rate when you're not looking. |

1 edit | So it's December, and the Better Business Bureau is trying to decide on the annual award for VOIP carrier of the year. The finalists are Teleblend and Knightel. We'll announce the winner .... after it all breaks! -- "Teleblend has an agreement with the Assignee to solicit and support former SunRocket customers." |

| reply to Batchman I'm sorry.... but looking at the knightel site, and the blank pages, and click to nowhere signup links reminds me of e-mail spam...."You have won national lottery! Just follow this link, send us $2000.00, and claim your multi-million doller prize!" (mis-spelled on purpose). I can't believe anybody would fall for something like this. Then again, look at all of us that signed onto TeleBlechh.

1 edit | Did a small bit of googling of the parent company and found: »www.ffaincorp.com/ Looks like they are a small cog in a larger company. US and UK phone numbers are on the page. The KnighTel web site is pretty poor. The ffaincorp web site also leaves a lot to be desired. One of the things that jumps out at me is they don't have a postcode on their mail address. Makes me very suspicious. |

1 edit | they have now populated their Terms of Service page. The type face changes starting at Section 1.5 ... from that point forward it is a straight copy of Nuvio's TOS (and I ought to know!) other than name changes, a couple of policy differences, and modifications based on product offer.
The feature set (especially the *99 Call Record feature) seems similar to VT's feature set. Perhaps Knightel is a VT White playa?
Of course, if Brendan sold these losers a VT White deal, then perhaps he really is "the Joe Izuzu of the VOIP industry" after all (see »Re: how do you justify billing non-customers? ).
The online enrollment remains non-functional, so we can't fully reverse engineer this one ... yet. -- "Teleblend has an agreement with the Assignee to solicit and support former SunRocket customers." |
