I just spoke with a CSR and she said that they were offering the 9mbs, as a promotion to college students.

She said that after the promotion was up (after 10 months), the speeds and prices were going to revert to what they are today. (I questioned that as well)

She also said that there was no way for them to verify the "Student" status.

I couldn't get in on it b/c I was already under another promotion.
