6dB is severely borderline...personally I'd want a minimum of 10dB purely for stability...the way I look at it if anything happens to cause any noise on the line the connection is going to most likely drop...I would have personally stayed with a 3meg/512 fast or 3meg/800 interleaved for stability

What actual speed are you getting when downloading?

I was on 3008/800 interleaved and I was getting no more than 240Kb/s. My error count was trough the roof.

I asked to be dropped to 2.4/640 and I go full speed ~260Kb/s with minimal errors.
