| Re: Where Did All The Money Go? The USF is a slush fund for large Telephone companies. They receive all the proceeds from the USF. It is a a tax for a private corporation. The rate is set based on the expenses the Telephone companies say it costs them to provide internet access to schools and Libraries. Since there is zero oversight, the program is wrought with fraud and waste.
