WinXP PRO PPPOE Issue

Hi,

I've experience a weird problem with my PPPOE connection under windows xp pro sp2.
After connection, within minutes the desktop flashes one time and then no internet connection. Anyhow, the connection looks OK, no error no nothing pop-up. The only way to solve the problem is to reboot the computer.
It is a winxp bug? something about MTU size? how can I fix this.

Thanks
