It does seem, however, that with the warpath over torrents more people will be learning/using Newsleecher and NZBs, etc., thus making newsgroups and DL times an important consideration in choosing (or switching) ISPs. An ideal scenario would be to offer higher speeds without raising fees. :-P<br><br>Kudos to DSLX... the best DSL provider ever.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/665481"><b>wity2k2</b></A> : I'm not sure how much extra will dslx charge for more speed and more connectivities and if it's really worth it. supernews is relatively expensive and has relatively low retention compared to other usenet providers. <br><br>cost:<br><br>supernews = 20.95 for 30GB  <br>other     = $10-$15 for unlimited<br><br>retention:<br><br>supernews = 40 days +/- 3 days<br>other     = 70 days+<br><br>I understand that free is free, but it's really a pain in the neck when I am trying to grab something on the verge of retention period knowing that if the speed was a little faster I could have made it.<br><br>imho, shop around for other usenet provider is a better option than wait for dslx response for those who are willing to pay extra. I doubt that dslx can get a better deal with supernews.]]></description>
