| stupidity I use a lot of broadband: 3 VoIP phones (with 3 teens), 2 XBox Live consoles (for the teens), 5 computers, Joost TV via internet, plus torrents. I know I use a lot and I pay the max that Comcast offers here in Sacramento (home networking for multiple IP addresses and the highest speed tier they have). It's around $80/month. Plus, I don't mind paying more because I understand I'm not a typical cable HSI user. Why can't they make a reasonable tier of higher speeds (particularly upload) and charge more? If I was a typical internet user (browsing, email) I'd just use my $14/month DSL line (768/384). If they keep throttling, limiting, capping, etc. We might as well go back to DSL Lite and save the money. |
