yock : Philadelphia was great, I had a lot of fun! I spent most of my time out in the burbs, KOP, Valley Forge, the hotel in Malvern. The first afternoon I was there I walked through the street market on my way to Geno's. Of course, me being the newbie, I screwed it up. How was I supposed to know that you had to order things and different windows? =)

I did some walking around the Valley Forge historical site. Battlefields have always interested me but I've seen so few. It was amazing to me to stand at the same overlooks as the revolutionaries, you really start to understand why they chose to camp on that hill. Possibly the most amazing thing was looking out at the old British entrenchments. Small mounds where they'd have dug in while under fire.

Oh, and I had some training thing in KOP all week, but that isn't important. ;-) I really had a great time in Philly.
