Well, if it helps, I have a 2001 Ranger that has been through at least a zillion automated car washes. Both touchless and the kind with the long strips of cloth. My antenna never got hurt. Neither did my windshield.
Before you bought your truck it was probably through several car washes. -- Some days it seems like ALL my brain cells have died.
