Actually there have been more in the Gulf Of California, and with the 5 or 6 big ones in Indonesia, it looks like the Rim of Fire is really moving....someone asked me if i thought all the activity meant that a new moon was about to be born.

Any one notice that there has been a very large amount of quakes off of San Diego in the last two weeks ? strange as that is not really a very active seismic area.They seemed to start at about the same time the first Lake Elsinore quake hit

I felt it very clearly as a smaller version of the original - same short jolt action. The rest of the family was downstairs and thought it was a door slam.

yeah, EQs are not permitted to shake malls
do you fell much when you're in the mall and walking? It was pretty small earthquake by la standard
