| Multitasking It'd be great to have a line with speed like that! While it may not change anyones life it should would make many a lot easier.

I am using Voip, web cam and downloading pictures all at the same time. And that is just one computer.
A 10/10 connection would be nice for one computer. 100/10 would be nice for 4
If they build it, we will find a use for it.

A lot of us have already been trying to use the Internet for a long time (in my case for almost a quarter of a century, since about 1985) for things that current speeds do not allow, and will start to work a little bit at fiber capable speeds (e.g., 100mbit/s). For those who aren't in that position, of course, they don't need it. A lot of us born more recently have a different future than those who are already older when they were at the same age in their life as we are now. The older people may already have had successful and fulfilling careers, homes, families, etc.. We are barely starting to build that ourselves. So there's quite a few reasons one undersized size does not fit all, especially those not mired in the world of baby boomers born before 1970 and stuff.
That's not to say there aren't younger people who are fulfilled and don't need high speed internet at this point. |
