I tend to agree. Unless you have access to apps that need 100Mbps, what's it going to do for you? Faster bittorrent mesh? More spam in/out ?

I have a 3Mbps pipe, and it does me fine. The only slow points for me have been downloading Fedora Core DVD ISO's.

When HDTV is streamed to your PC... wake me up.

when you have more then one heavy user in one home youll wish you had more speed 15/1 and we really need more
30/5 would be what we really need

but damn 100/10 or some thing like and i could totaly forget about QoS in the home

Wake up if you have Directv. Their new Video on Demand service will use your broadband connection using their HR20 boxes as well as video being pushed on demand via sat. They supposedly have HD content available also. So there is a need for speed
