Re: [Services] New August 1st Bundles...

Thanks for the spreadsheet bluepoint, I'm in MS and I have the Triple Choice package and after looking at your spreadsheet I'm a bit confused......

The only discounts I get are $10 off my DTV bill and $5 (Triple Choice Credit) off my BS/AT&T bill. I'm being charged $9.99 for what they told me was the Nickel Plan but is listed on my bill as being the "Talk 200 Value Plan", the agents I talked to said I had to have one of their LD plans to qualify for Triple Choice.....

My BS/AT&T bill by itself is $90.72, so IMHO something isn't adding up right.....

Is the BUN63-Triple Choice Unlimited package different from the regular TC package they advertise on their site and on TV sometimes?

Do you think having an older DTV package would prevent me from getting the full discounts the Triple Choice package is supposed to provide?

There are 2 grandfathered Triple Choice plans....

The Original Triple Choice from Aug 1st 2006 to Febuary 2007 was Preferred Pack Plan (in MS $32.00 - $5 Credit).
Talk 200 Special Value (in MS $5.05).
DSL Ultra ($32.95)
DTV Choice (Until Feb of this year $44.95)

The plan was modified in Feb of 2007:
Preferred Pack ($32.00 - $5)
Triple Choice Nickel ($.01)
DSL Ultra ($32.95)
DTV Choice ($49.99 - $10 Credit)

Now the With all of the Triple Choice Plans you can modify the Local Class of Service to Complete Choice for $5 or Unlimited LD for $24.98 in MS. With the new Febuary '07 package you can get Talk 200 value for $9.99 instead of Triple Choice Nickel for $.01.

If you are on one of the older or the newest Triple Choice plans you AT&T Services should add up to be $59.96 + Taxes and fees... roughly $70~$75... If you have a higher DSL (Xtreme or Xtreme 6.0), a Higher class of Service (Complete Choice), or Higher LD Plan (in your case Talk 200 LD) you must add the extra cost accordingly.

-----------
As for the Triple Choice Unlimted Plan it was introduced this year on Aug 1st, if you were a new Triple Choice subscriber then you would prolly be offered it first in MS this is how it works...

Perfered Pack $32 -$5 Credit ($27)
Triple Choice Unlimited LD ($15.01)
DSL Ultra $32.95 - $15 Credit ($17.95)
DTV Choice $49.99 - $10 Credit ($39.99)
Total: $99.95

As you see the AT&T service work out to be $59.96 + taxes/fees.

I finally called them and it turns out I wasn't getting the $12 DSL discount that I was supposed to have been getting this entire time........

I had to hang up on the first CS person that I got because she was so rude, luckily the 2nd gal that I got was nice. She actually noticed that I wasn't getting the DSL discount, and sent it to whatever dept to have my bill credited for the months I went without the correct DSL discounts......

@bellsouth.net

I finally got my $7 dsl discount after several calls to BS.

Yes, they can be quite rude and unknowledgeable. One of the CSRs said flat out that I wasn't eligible for a discount. Thanks for bundl64.

Don't let the turkeys at BS confuse you.
