anyone have random disconnects ?

I get randomly disconnected throughout the day, I'm not sure what's going on, sometimes it doesn't happen but its annoying, it's very random, I thought there was a pattern of disconnects but it seems random, thanks for the help.

It has been fine down here in Portland.
But looking at this shows some inconsistancy.

I think you can sign up as a monitor for free, might help you to to troubleshoot. Are your disconnects around the time I am having bad pings?

What kind of modem do you have? Are you using any p2p?

I had line quality issues that would lead to random disconnects. For me, changing the jack that the modem was plugged into fixed the problem. My connection actually seems to be more reliable than my power from CMP.

Did you contact GWI Support? If so, what did they say? Were you satisfied? If not contact me.

I had issues with my old apartment. I come to suspect it came from either being just on the edge of the 15mbit redline connectivity or the terrible general wireing in my apartment

Ha, thats awesome that you posted here Fletcher! How about a free month of service for us GWI subscribers at DSLR? There is not too many of us.

Hi Fletcher, good to have someone from GWI here in the forum.
Any chance that GWI will change its backbones in the future to
higher quality ones such as Level3,Alter or AT&T? Gnaps is ok but Cogento is just horrible.
WE use Midmaine at my workplace and the backbones they use give way better routing and latency, sorry I know I said Midmaine lol.

Thanks

Well I guess as soon as I move house which should be before the years end I will be switching to Midmaines phone/dsl service. Their backbones are just way better and being a online gamer thats whats most important to me.
