Big telecom gets their way again. Check out the lobbying spending by the big telecom companies that opposed the M2Z application. No wonder there isn't competition in the marketplace and no wonder the FCC is anti-consumer.

AT&T:
2006: $23 million
2005: $31 million

Verizon:
2006: $13 million
2005: $11.7 million

T-Mobile:
2006: $1.3 million
2005: $800,000
