I have DirecTv and AT&T here, but they only bundle with Dish or Uverse out here DirecTv has worked well for me since 2003.
Sad to say the only reason AT&T has DirecTV was because of how well BellSouth marketed its affiliate and gave good discounts. my parents in TX are in the same boat, they have former SBC and DirecTV.
