if you are using cable IP phone, it will not work unless you have power due to you dsl modem will not run. Embarq Telephone runs on it's own power source so when the power at your house is not on, your phone still works as long as you have a corded phone. |

Wauseon, OH | I am not using a cable IP phone. I canceled my DSL because of lousy connection and service and I just decided to cancel my land line phone with it.
My Time Warner Cable and Internet is still working just fine. |
