Damn that is one of the best rants I have read in a long time.
I have to agree, I would have had an IPod a long time ago but I still can't get over the fact I am purchasing a expensive device which is very difficult to change a cycled out battery.......Oh that 160 gig Classic.....drool...drool....

Everyone makes stuff in China. I bet you buy only products made in the USA or at least North America right? Apple has no choice to go to China unfortunately because everyone else is so if they want to compete on price they have to do it. |

I find it extremely amusing that the people making the loudest noise about it are those who (over)paid for this thing in the first place, not the so-called "bashers". None of them are that stupid.
And then there is the usual rush to defend Apple no matter what they've done. Ha!
