What I want to know

First let me say I am not a Apple fanboy but somewhat of a basher because anything Apple is overpriced...

Anyways, If I had paid $600 for this phone only to see it drop in price 2 months later. I would have to ask, why could they not have introduced the damn thing at the lower price to begin with? In fact I would like to think that by selling it at the lower price to begin with they would have ended up selling more units which should have made up for any loss Apple would have seen....

it is called supply and demand (with a dash of hype).

If I could sell a pencil for $500 because I said it was the best pencil ever and people were willing to give me $500. Why not?
