Re: [ATT CV] Issue when I initiate the call

That I don't know. I think the forum was started in an ATT ISP section (based on some early posts in the forum) and was eventually "reorganized" under the VoIP umbrella. Unfortunately, it hasn't yet received a "tab" that shows up while reading in the other VoIP sub-forums...

You may want to post this question in the AT&T CallVantage forum.
There's an AT&T CallVantage forum on here?

Yes, the TA is in front of the router and behind the cable box. Further research shows that it only happens when calling another ATT CV customer. Really weird. Yes, I called AT&T, but they are still trying to figure it out.

TA behind cable box means before the router, correct? If that's the case, it shoots down the first suggestion I'd have (which is to put the ATA in front of your router ). Have you called ATT about this?

When I call someone, I can hear them but they cannot hear me. When they call me back, we have a normal connection and everything works fine. I've tried the power disconnect from the TA and wait 60 seconds then reconnect, but that does not change things. TA in behind the Cable box.
