Alactel Modem compatible with TekSavvy?

I have an old modem I had from my days with bell. It's an Alcatel Speed Touch Home Model #3EC18804GCAB02. Is this compatible with TeckSavvy's network? If not, what do people suggest I get (that's a cheap price)? I know about the 2-wire modem, but I am not anywhere near a Canada Computers store.

Thanks!

It will work, but if you are farther from the CO and or have a noisy line, a newer modem will sync up faster and give better performance... Of course that's not known until the service is actually provisioned...

So I'd say order the service, see how this modem performs, you can pull stats from with the help of AlcaTool, and we can help you figure out if a newer model will improve your performance or not.
