After 2 rings, the pap2 or ipkall will "answer" the phone automatically, but hear nothing in both party. If the voicemail of IPKall kicks in within the 2nd rings, then all you need is to login to your IPKall account to re-adjust the duration before the voicemail on IPKall will intercept the call. If it is your PAP2v1, then perhaps a factory reset will cure the problem; otherwise, a firmware upgrade may be needed or your PAP2v1 is defective. If your PAP2v1 was a Linksys/Vonage locked PAP2v1, then you will have to take some measurements not to let it phone home as well as to have it re-unlocked after the factory reset unless you have it NAized and/or hacked through a ROM dump. |
