I used to peruse the software forums on DSLReports quite frequently as a Windows user. I still enjoy using Windows XP (though, for the most part, I can't stand Vista). But about a year ago I switched to the Mac. Something that I wouldn't have fathomed myself doing two years ago. And I love it.
There are advantages and disadvantages, and most certainly what one person prefers another may despise, but we all must agree with the age-old phrase "To each his own", shouldn't we?
Think of Real Player, dadkins  ! If I remember correctly, at the time I used to visit the Software Forums you used and liked Real Player, while most forum members seemed to discount it as "bloated". To me, I see Apple and the Mac as my choice of desktop platform, and it seems that most people here are shooting it down in the same way that others shot down your use of Real Player.
And it's way too late and I'm rambling and I hope you understand that this entire post wasn't directly only at you but at the thread in general. Good night.
