Well, the next release of Mac OS X coming out next month is officially certified as a "pure UNIX", making it about unmonopolized as you can get...

How many years did it take apple to realize that their one minded model was going to last? Still, it's the "next" release.. Now.. let's talk about hardware.. and supporting middleware.. the apple store.. etc.
