| PAP2 v2.0 with Vitelity?
I've got an unlocked PAP2 v2.0 with 1.00.13 firmware and can't get it to register (let alone work) with Vitelity. The Vitelity support page shows configs for a PAP2, but some settings (for example changing the RTP Packet Size) are not available or even similar to the options I'm seeing on the v2.0 Voice config pages.
Anyone able to get a PAP2 v2.0 working with Vitelity? If so, would you please share any special setting info, firmware version, etc.
Thank you,
BruceM3... |

| The only way I ever got my unlocked (w/ CYT) PAP2 v2 (initially locked to Vonage) to work is if my username was all numbers, no letters. Is that the case with your Vitelity account? If it is, also make sure you put that username in the caller ID field. That's the only way it would work for me. |

| Thanks for the reply, Chuck. Unfortunately, my username is NOT all numbers and I'm unable to even create a subaccount with all numbers as Vitelity prepends some alpha characters to any subaccount I would try to create.
Do you still have the PAP2 v2.0 working with Vitelity? If so, should both the Proxy Server and Registrar Address be set to sip2.vitelity.net? And if so, in both the SIP and Line1 pages?
Thanks! |

| The RTP Packet size under the SIP tab must be set to .02

I go bit by that. -- RoadRunner, ViaTalk, Vitelity, VoipJet, Stanaphone, NuFone, CallWithUs

| I was able to set that when I was using my WRTP56G, but under the SIP tab in a PAP2 v2.0 running 1.00.13 firmware, the RTP Packet Size isn't even an option.
Now, the only voice config pages I've been able to access are via the /Voice_adminPage.html, unless there are different ones that I'm missing.

1 edit | The caller ID name and User name have to be the same, and can only be a numeric entry.... NO ALPHA CHARACTERS. This seems to be the 'bug' while using the PAP2v2, regardless of the firmware revision. I tried it with 1.00.13 and 1.00.16. I had to have my provider (Teliax) change my user name from a combo username (Alpha/Numeric) to just a numeric user name. Once I did that, I had no problems.

Edit- Sorry, I should have read all of the replies... did not see what Chuck wrote.

| Thanks, TJ. Well, I guess I either need to see if Vitelity will give me an all numeric user name, or go back to my WRTP54G. The all-numeric user name might not even solve it since I also can't seem to find any setting to change the RTP packet size. Was that something you had to change for Teliax, and if so, where did you change it?

TIA No. All I had to do is run the CYT program, enter my values for the user name/password/sip server, and I was operational. This was the same for Teliax and LES.net.
