Sunland, CA | Because EL offers 8mb DSL and Verizon doesn't, only up to 3mb. Cable sucks in my area, if not then they would be a good option. |

Because LPV isn't provided by any of the companies you are discussing. I believe earthlink actually uses Covad for many of their services. However, I have Qworst, and it is much cheaper than Earthlink where I am. |

AT&T/Bellsouth area is $43.00 + $3.00 recovery fee for their 6.0 DSL.
Earthlink (resold Covad) is $39.95 with no other fees or taxes for 6.0 DSL.

The 8mb is only attainable if you have optimum line conditions. With aging copper the world over, this is hard to find.  |
